JANUARY 11 “HIGH ABOVE LAMOILLE:
THE VINTAGE TRAILS, ROADS, TOWNS
AND TALES ALONG THE WAY”. Charles
Burnham, a Vermont Licensed Landscape
Architect, will talk about several aerial photos
of Lamoille County from 1941, 1962, and 1973
that are part of the Stowe Historical Society’s
collection. These aerial photos show the
history of the land use changes from farming
and logging to recreation and hospitality
industries. They are especially interesting
when viewed from the perspective of the
behind-the-scenes stories. Co- sponsored by the
Stowe Historical Society.
