Beer, a Political Science Professor at the
University of Vermont, will return to our
lectern to discuss the many ways the role of
women in Latin America has changed. She
specializes in comparative politics and Latin
American politics and has published numerous
journal articles and in 2003 authored
Institutional Changes and Electoral
Competition in Mexico.
